Lee Vemhangen and Avery Damon Penny present their proposal to drill for oil and gas on Amherst Common. Currently, very few people use the main lawn area (left). We believe at least 5 oil rigs could fit in that space (right).Drilling for oil and gas on public lands such as the Common will help reduce America's dependence on foreign oil and, with the assistance of private/public partnerships set up by Vemhangen & Penny, will make us even richer!
