Billionaires Bring 'Loyal To Big Oil' Campaign to Amherst, Massachusetts!

The Boston Billionaires did not let a little rain stop us from bringing their 'Loyal to Big Oil' campaign to Amherst for the annual Harvest Fair. Go to the 'Show Loyalty' page to see photos from New York's action!

Left to right (looking ever glamorous): Avery Damon Penny, Austin Tayshun, Lee Vemhangen, Liza Tooyou and Dee Foress Tayshun.

Drill For Oil on Amherst Common!

Lee Vemhangen and Avery Damon Penny present their proposal to drill for oil and gas on Amherst Common. Currently, very few people use the main lawn area (left). We believe at least 5 oil rigs could fit in that space (right).

Drilling for oil and gas on public lands such as the Common will help reduce America's dependence on foreign oil and, with the assistance of private/public partnerships set up by Vemhangen & Penny, will make us even richer!

Avery Damon Penny Makes Rain Look Good...

... and patriotic!

Austin Tayshun Holds a Grudge... and a Banner!

Austin Tayshun carefully avoids even looking at the activist next to us on Amherst Common. That man should have never even tried to ask Austin to borrow his yacht. Imagine!

Dee Foress Sounds the Warning: Raging Grannies Approach!

While holding our 'Loyal To Big Oil' banner, Dee Foress Tayshun gave us early warning about the approach of a group of Raging Grannies. The Raging Grannies are women who dress in outrageous garb and sing such anti-Billionaire songs as "We Grannies Work for Peace" and "Dubya".

They don't like us very much for some reason. We think they are jealous of our fabulosity!

The Martha's Vineyard Transfer Makes Its Debut!

click on the photos to enlarge.

Boston's Billionaires Follies group, newly christened as 'The Martha's Vineyard Transfer' debuted on Amherst Common. But first they had to listen to some scurrilous folk-singer named Jay Mankita sing "I'm a Socialist" (left). Fortunately, billion-dollar bills make effective ear protection. When the insults ended, Lee Vemhangen introduced the group (center), then we sang our hit single, "We're Exxon!" (right).

Of course the crowd loved it!!

Photos by Dee Foress Tayshun. Thank you, darling!

Billionaires Buy Off Jay Mankita !

Jay is an extremely talented singer-songwriter who seems to think he's the new Woody Guthrie! The Billionaires were not vexed by his songs which advocate Truth, Justice and Environmentalism; we merely bought him off!

Liza Tooyou Sabotages an Alternative Energy Bus!

Before we left Amherst, Liza Tooyou sabotaged a bio-diesel bus! As you can see, she had great fun. For extra irony, note the sticker above her head. Take that you tree-huggers! We like foreign oil!

Billionaires Defend Dick Cheney!

Dick Cheney spoke at a GOP fundraiser honoring GOP money-raising machine Dick Egan on Friday. We Billionaire showed up because we knew the hoi polloi would be there whining about Dick's war record, his energy policies, his war policies and his general popularity. They are so jealous!

Here, Lee Vemhangen (center) leads the chanting and draws media attention away from the great unwashed. And it worked! At least the Harvard Crimson noticed (and really, if the Harvard paper notices you, what else do you need?!).

Right to left: Nola S. Belle (behind photographer), O. Al Barron, Lee Vemhangen, Austin Tayshun, Miss Piggy S. Calade, Mona Poli's hand.

Dick Cheney is Innocent!

The Billionaires had a variety of messages for those who would disparage our Vice President. We support his energy policies, his innocence, and of course, all the no-bid contracts to Halliburton!

Right to left: Miss Piggy S. Calade, O. Al Barron, Lee Vemhangen, Dee Foress Tayshun. We would thrill to drill in ANWR!

Nola S. Belle and Miss Piggy S. Calade are Loyal to Big Oil!

This action was a pre-kick-off event for our Loyal To Big Oil Campaign. It makes sense - who else represents loyalty to big oil than Dick Cheney?

Mona Poli Represents!

Mona has made the connection between increased oil consumption, increased oil profits to us, increased global warming and increased glamour in the form of tans. That is why she supports Dick's energy policies, which reward oil and gas companies!

Ivana Feels So Happy When Surrounded By Her Vigilant Security!

These protests are chaotic, noisy and crowded, but Ivana always feels secure surrounded by her special security forces! Look at how dedicated they are to looking for potential danger on either side of our Richly Upholstered Chair.
