Boston Billionaires Visit with Malcolm Rogers, MFA Director!

It seems the guards union members are peeved that Malcolm has received massive salary increases during the same period of time in which they have received none. Plus, the vast majority of guards are not full-time employees, so do not get benefits. But that is all right as long as our Malcolm is all right!

A Billionaire Being Generous?!?!?!?!?!

Avery Damon Penny obeys this union member's sign and hands him a billion dollar bill! The museum security guards are angry because they have not received a raise in some time and do not have benefits. All this despite the museum raising scads of cash for its expansion plans. But the billion dollar bill should help this chap! (Well, not really...)

In the background is one of the two champion racing yachts owned by billionaire Bill Koch. It was gratifying for us to see this illustration of the income gap - security guards having trouble making ends meet next to multi-million dollar racing yachts which have no other purpose than to provide entertainment for the wealthy!

Avery Damon Penny and Mona Polist discuss yachting with a member of the winning America's Cup crew. He explained that the two yachts displayed outside the Museum of Fine Arts cost about $3 -4 million apiece. The yachts have been mounted on poles in front of the museum to advertise a show of Bill Koch's collection titled "The Things I Love". That's one billionaire who is having no trouble enjoying his vast wealth! And objects are so much easier to love than people!

Several Boston Billionaires journeyed to Cape Cod for the weekend, visiting Provincetown in order to disrupt an anti-war protest and freeway blogging on Sunday in between shopping sprees. Who says that Billionaires are ignorant of the latest trends? Here, Billionairesses participate in the newest craze, freeway blogging. We just wanted to remind everyday Americans to give war a chance and they responded with a vast array of hand gestures, words and noises! Our favorite reaction by far was by the brave soul riding her bicycle the wrong way around the rotary who rang her bicycle bell at us!

Billionairesses Defy the Eastham Police....well not really!

While we were freeway blogging, two vehicles had a little collision nearby. We hoped that it was our splendor which had distracted the drivers, but sadly, it was simply another case of road rage at the Orleans rotary. During the entire hour it took the police to process the scene, Billionairesses continue to freeway blog, defying the police presence! After all, some might say that we have bought them, darling!

Boston Billionaires Go To Fenway Park to Protect Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Boston Billionaires went to Fenway before the opening concert of the new Rolling Stones tour to protect California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger's fundraiser. Nurses, teachers, firefighters and police have been bird-dogging his fundraisers in California, so we wanted to prevent any such actions here in Massachusetts!

Ameriquest, a mortgage company convicted of fleecing everyday Americans, donated 40 luxury seats to Arnold for his fundraiser. Arnold was asking for up to $100,000 per seat to support his special ballot inititative on Nov. 4th, which will limit funding for hospitals, schools and first responders. That means he would be using money taken from ordinary Americans in order to raise money to take more money away from ordinary Americans. Genius!

Sadly, we heard later that not only did this brilliant idea fail, but Ahnald was actually booed by the crowd and mocked by Mick Jagger! Our poor Governator!!

Plucky Billionaires get caught up in the mob scene outside the concert. Here, the young man in grey was quite insistent that we go down to Washington, D.C. for some large anti-war protest on September 24th. Now, why would we protest against our own Iraq Acquisition effort? And what does that have to do with Arnold?!?

The people lined up to the left are Ameriquest employees waiting to get into the Cask and Flagon to get drunk ...er relaxed before the show. Ivana Moore-Enmoore and Lee Vemhangen took a moment to speak to them to urge them to keep up the good work! After all, Ameriquest has only had legal action taken against them for predatory lending in 30 states -- they have 20 more states to go! Happily, the $325 million Ameriquest has set aside for the fines associated with those actions is chump change compared to their total profits!

One of the girlie-men union members protesting against Arnold with a sign made by Lee Vemhangen! (It's hard to say whose side Lee is on, sometimes...). Many California teachers, firefighters and nurses showed up at Fenway to to protest Arnold and were joined by Massachusetts and Illinois nurses, teachers and firefighters. We tried to shout them down, but to no avail... they outnumbered us 15 to 1!

This nurse's tee shirt refers to Arnold's unsuccesful attempt to rollback nursing staffing levels. Watch out, Arnold, it looks very bad when a bunch of girlie-men beat you!

Billionaires Attend DNC Fundraiser and are Appalled!

Boston Billionaires attended a DNC fundraiser, which was built on the idea of Democracy Bonds (a monthly pledge of a small amount of money to support the Democratic Party). The Billionaires discovered that not only did the bonds have a disclaimer saying they would not have any monetary rate of return, they are not even tax-deductible! Apparently, the money donated would just go into the DNC's efforts to put a Democratic candidate in every race at every level nationwide. What kind of investment is that??!?

To make matters worse, they had speakers! First Philip Johnston, Chair of the Mass. Democrats, spoke about getting rid of our darling Mitt Romney. Now, we know Mitt is a mere multi-millionaire, but we see great potential in him. Next, Howard Dean, new head of the DNC, spoke passionately of issues which seemed to stir the everyday Americans attending the event. He spoke of such horribly anti-Billionaire policies such as health-care coverage for all, equal opportunity, honest elections, elimination of our 'Culture of Corruption', environmental quality and ending our Iraq Acquisition efforts. And all this even after Zsa Zsa had slipped him a billion-dollar bill! Needless to say, we were appalled!
